This flux is suitable for use at working temperatures above 600°C and is compliant with DIN 8511, type F-SH 1 standards. It is DVGW-tested and recommended for gas and water installations involving copper pipes, ensuring reliable and efficient joints when used with silver-containing brazing solder and a variety of base materials.

Ideal for use with steel, copper, copper alloys, brass, and red bronze, the Rothenberger LP5 brazing paste provides effective performance within a temperature range of 550–800°C. For best results and to maintain system integrity, it is essential to thoroughly remove all flux residues after brazing.
